The best ways to explore London
If there is one thing that you are going to quickly realise about London, it is that there is plenty of things to see and do when you visit. Whilst it is great to have plenty of choice, it can be a little overwhelming of course and this is particularly true if you are wondering how you are going to get around and see all of those amazing things.
To help you to make sure that you get the most of London when you are there, we have put together some of the best ways that you can explore the city.
For speed- the underground
Of course, one of the most obvious ways to get around London has to be the underground. An amazing system that allows you to move around the city and all the amazing landmarks, quickly and efficiently. Whilst the London Underground is great for speed (and ease of use of course) the one thing that it doesn’t allow you to do is actually see all those amazing sights around you. So, perhaps it is no good if you want to explore everything that is going on above ground.
Take a bus tour
Talking about being overground, one amazing way that you can explore London has to be with a classic bus tour. Not only are these bus tours (just like the ones that we are offer) an ideal way to see as much of the city as possible; but they are also designed to give you some information on the history of London and its landmarks too. If you are looking for a bus tour that offers something different, then you might want to check out our amazing Ghost Bus Tour, which brings a spooky theatre show with a classic bus tour.
Ride down the river
There is a reason that the River Thames is a great way to see much of what London has to offer; it run’s right through it. Riding down the river is not only a great way to get between A and B, but whilst you are on the water you are also going to get a great vantage point of some of the amazing landmarks and attractions that you can find in London.
London is such a huge city that it can sometimes be hard to get around and see everything, especially in a limited time. If you are only visiting London for a day and you still want to make sure that you take in everything that the city has to offer; then you should absolutely try and get as high as you possible. There are plenty of sky-high attractions that you can head to. This includes The London Eye and of course the ever iconic building which is The Shard.
As you can see, there are plenty of ways that you can choose to explore London. Some are obvious and others less so. The main thing is to find a way to get around that is not only going to allow you to take in everything that London has to offer, but that is also like an experience in itself!
