The best attractions for kids during Christmas

If there is one thing that Christmas is all about it is spending time as a family, all together. The only problem with this is finding things that you can all do together, that will keep even the youngest members of the family entertained.

To help you to have the very best Christmas possible, we have put together some of the best attractions for kids during Christmas from around the UK.

Enchanted Christmas at Greenwood Family Park- Y Felinheli, Gwynedd

If you are based in Wales, then you really need to head to Greenwood Family Park to get yourself in the Christ spirit. Sure, it might be cold, but make sure that you wrap up warm. Take a walk around the forest for 2 hours and see it come to life and become packed full of magic and wonder. You may even be lucky enough to get to see the man himself in his woodland cabin.

Christmas at Chatsworth House in Bakewell

Designed to be a festive adventure for all the family, at Chatsworth House this year you can pop on an explorer hat and become your very own Phileas Fogg and Amelia Earhart, travelling around the world. You will not only be able to see some stunning Japanese Cherry Blossoms but also a Nordic Winter landscape, which will really help you to see how Christmas is celebrated around the world.

Christmas at Paultons Park in Hampshire

Not only is Paultons Park home to Peppa Pig and her family;  but it is also home to a rather fun packed festive event too. Not only can you ride some of the best rides in the park (although bear in mind that some attractions won’t be open) but you can also take a wander through Santa’s Grotto too! What could be a better way to get you in the Christmas mood?

Hyde Park Winter Wonderland in London

If you are in the capital this Christmas, then one festive place that you need to visit has to be Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park, packed full of stalls, traders, food and drink, there is also an outdoor skating rink, Paddington on Ice and a magical Santa Land for you to see too! You don’t have to pay to enter Winter Wonderland, but you will need to pay in order to enter some of the attractions there.

Christmas on the Farm at Cotswold Farm Park in Cheltenham

During certain weekends in December you will be able to see Santa stopping off at this lovely little farm park in the Cotswolds. Not only will you be able to see the man himself, but you will also be able to try out some of their awesome festive activities too!

Hopefully this list has given you plenty of inspiration for something to do as a family this Christmas time. Whether it is heading to see Peppa and her friends, taking a trip around the world, or perhaps simply wandering through a magical forest at night; you can always make sure that you really embrace everything that Christmas should be about. Spending time with those who mean the most to you!
